Las Vegas, New Mexico has a story worth telling.

It’s a city with more than 900 buildings on the National Register of Historic Places — more per capita than almost anywhere else in the United States. A city where the Santa Fe Trail passed through, where Teddy Roosevelt recruited his Rough Riders, where Las Gorras Blancas rode at night to defend their land, where generations of families have built lives rooted in culture, community, and resilience.

And yet for a place with so much history and so much happening, the stories don’t always get told the way they deserve.

That’s why we created The Reflective Gaze Gazette.
